Order Process:
Orders can be submitted via the internet, telephone, or facsimile. Telephone orders can be made by calling customer service at 214-335-9976.  Orders can be faxed by calling 972-381-0367.    When faxing an order please include specific brands and sizes.  Also, when faxing an order include your credit card number (Mastercard, Visa, or Discover) with the expiration date.  Once your order is received, we will call to confirm the order and arrange a convenient delivery time.  Orders received by 9AM are subject to same day delivery depending upon delivery schedule availability.  All orders received after 9AM will result in next day delivery.  When making an order, please include your full name, full address including zip code, and your telephone number.

Product Pricing: 
Internet Home Grocer shops exclusively at Kroger.  Prices are estimated and based on Kroger’s regular retail price.  They do not reflect current sale prices.  Typically, the actual price will be less than the estimated price due to many products being on sale. Your price will be Kroger’s current price of the product (regular or sale).  During delivery, you will be given the original Kroger receipt.

At IHG’s discretion, we will deliver outside our normal delivery area.  Before submitting an order, please call customer service at 214-335-9976 or email us at info@internethomegrocer.com .  Please include your full address, zip code and telephone number.

Delivery Times:
Internet Home Grocer offers delivery windows of 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm on Monday through Friday. Delivery windows for Saturday are 12pm-2pm and 2pm-4pm. Our goal is to always deliver on time! If we are more than 15 minutes late, we will reduce your delivery fee by $3.00.

Cancellation of Order:
Orders can be canceled by calling customer service at 214-335-9976.  Orders must be canceled no later than two hours prior to scheduled delivery.  If an order is not canceled within this time frame a $25.00 cancellation fee will be applied to your credit card. You will not be charged for the grocery order.

If the order has not been canceled and no one is present to receive the order at the scheduled delivery time, IHG will leave after five minutes. You will not be charged for the grocery order but you will incur a $25.00 cancellation fee.

Payment Process:
Payment is due upon delivery. All orders initially require a credit card number (Mastercard, Visa or Discover) in order to secure the order.  During delivery, final payment can be made with personal check, cash (exact amount only), or credit card (Mastercard, Visa or Discover). Currently, all orders placed on the website will not include the delivery fee and shopping fee on the total cost. All returned checks will result in a $25.00 processing fee.

Delivery and Shopping Fees:
IHG charges a delivery fee based on the total cost of the order.  For example:

Product Substitution:
The following guidelines will be used when product substitution is necessary.

  1. When ordering a product that is not on our shopping list please include specific brands and  sizes. If a brand or size is not specified, we will select one of similar quality unless otherwise  noted.

  2. If a specific size is not listed or available, the medium size will be selected. 

  3. If a product is out of stock, we will first attempt to substitute with a different size of the same product.  The next size larger will be selected unless otherwise noted. 

  4. If we are unable to select a different size of the same product, we will substitute a comparable  brand.

  5. If we are unable to substitute a size or name brand, the item will be removed from your order. We will inform you at the time of delivery.

 If you do not want a product substituted please indicate this in the special order / Comments area of the virtual shopping list.

 Product Return:
We want you to be totally satisfied with your order!  During delivery, you will be given the original Kroger receipt for your records.  If you are not completely satisfied, you may return the item to the store at your convenience.  If your order is inaccurate due to our mistake, we will credit your order or replace the item that day.    

Coupon Acceptance
IHG accepts coupons in accordance with Kroger’s current policies. We will DOUBLE manufacturer’s coupons up to and including $.50 and we will TRIPLE manufacturer’s coupons up to and including $.39.

Kroger Double/Triple Coupon Official Policy:

  • Offer valid only at Participating Kroger stores.
  • Triple the value of manufacturer’s coupons up to $.39 face value and double the manufacturer’s coupons $.40 to $.50. We will triple one coupon up to $.39 per like item and double one coupon $.40 to $.50 per like item (like UPC’s). Additional coupons for like items will be redeemed at FACE value.
  • Limit one coupon per item (i.e., you may not use two coupons to purchase one item).
  • Products must be purchased in sizes specified on the coupons.
  • Coupons with a value of $.51 or greater will be redeemed at face value.
  • Offer does not apply to manufacturer’s “cents off” coupons issued in store.
  • Offer applies only to Manufacturer’s “cents off” coupons for items we carry. Does not apply to "FREE” coupons or Kroger or other retail food store coupons.
  • Coupon value cannot exceed the retail of the item.
  • Offer does not include cigarettes, beer, wine and items prohibited by law.
  • Manufacturer’s coupons cannot be used in conjunction with in-store manufacturer’s coupons.
